SimpleParameterizer

Tokenizes a string based on a delimiter or quotes just as mIRC does for native commands.

Installation

Load SimpleParameterizer.mRC located in the root folder onto mIRC.

Usage

Identifier $getParameters

$getParameters(parameters[,delimiter])

Returns a string with the delimiter as $cr (return character).

Notes:

  • delimiter is optional
  • use regular expression characters as delimiters
  • the default delimiter is space (\s)

Example

alias test {
  tokenize 32 $getParameters(param1 "param 2" param3)

  ; echos Parameter one: param1
  echo -s Parameter one: $1

  ; echos Parameter two: "param 2"
  echo -s Parameter two: "param 2"

  ; echos Parameter one: param3
  echo -s Parameter three: $1
}
